This morning we had another ripper in the dark on 50 - 70# tuna that lasted
until the middle of the morning. With sore muscles and giant smiles we started
working up looking for something floating. We found a lot of general life, but
not the type we were looking for. At dark we called it a trip and put it on
course for home.
Two pictures today, first Greg Poldy shows off a 60# class yellowfin tuna bested
on his personal favorite 15# line. Greg is a very accomplished angler who, after
putting a few in the RSW, enjoys the challenge of landing fish on very light
gear. Second is The silent assassin, Mike Nagao who very quietly seems to always
have a bent rod.

We started early with a ripper in the dark that lasted until just after daylight and accounted for fully half of our total catch today. We scratched through the rest of the day and finished with a classic sundowner. We will be staying for one more day in this area. Our picture today is of Denis Dowden with...... Read More

11/11/13 Things have definitely changed for the better out here. We had good fishing today on 45-80# tuna. What a pleasure to catch this grade of tuna. They pull just hard enough to be a challenge, yet you land a very high percentage of what is hooked. They are excellent table fare and real crowd pleasers. We will be in the same area again tomorrow. Today I was more focused on landing these tuna than taking pictures. The action when it came...... Read More
