Today we hooked our first tuna right at the crack of dawn. We landed our last at
around one in the afternoon. It was incredibly enjoyable to sit on the anchor
and catch nice tuna for an extended period of time. During the bite we kept one
to four going and put together a great finish for the trip.

We will be in at 0630 tomorrow and Captain Ekstrom will be at the wheel for our
next adventure.

Greg Akinshin is all smiles with one of his bluefin today.

10/23/13 We worked up the beach today finding very little to hold our interest. We managed a few yellows here and there and picked up about 20 school size yellowfin in our travels. "character Building" is what we call days like this. The only thing I know for sure is that we will keep working to find biting fish, and we will find them.
