Plenty of excitement today as we went a few more rounds with about ten George Foreman size sea lions managing to
wrest a nice catch from their concerted efforts to sow otherwise. Most of that action occurred in the afternoon
however thankfully allowing us to make a fine variety morning on beautiful grade yellowtail, a little more than a
handful of seabass, and a few beefy halibut.

The weather was prime, the fishing was fine, and we all had a good time; now to keep the ball rolling. Content in
our present little haven we're settling in looking for more fun in the sun tomorrow. Photo for the day features
anglers Mike Krieger and Glen Backherms taking a quick moment to provide scale in a fair image displaying our first
"variety" stop of the morning.

The most beautiful looking conditions one could ever ask for and an effort consistent with our ability produced a few nice yellowfin and nothing more. It was a down day; equitable in this case with a swift kick in the groin. What a disappointing result for such sublime conditions. And that...... Read More
