Weather here today was pleasantly warm, with a 15 knot breeze out of the north.
Our fishing today was absolutely phenomenal. We caught 84 Yellowfin tuna and 65 to 70 of these were from 100 to 195 pounds. We had 2 fish definitely over 200 and a few more that might make that number. We also had 17 Wahoo.
There were many 10 to 15 pound Yellowfin caught in the morning, most of which were used for chunks. I believe this is the first time I have ever fished the bank and not caught or seen a shark. Obviously we are hoping for another good day tomorrow. The R/p crew.

11-11-2007We continue going south with very nice weather. Ten knots of breeze, sunshine and 77 degrees water. Our passengers enjoyed a short seminar reviewing safety when fishing Wahoo and also fish fighting techniques. In the afternoon some read while others played Texas Hold-em and watched movies. Weather today was absolutely outstanding. Seven to nine knots of breeze all day, clear skies and sunshine. We did another seminar this morning, and our passengers did more rigging today, with much assistance fro the crew. In the afternoon Billy and D made wind-on leaders, and Cole, Brook, and Jesus made new gaffs and sharpened the old ones. Frank and Jesus also did some tutoring at the rail to a 13 year old, Zachary Schenk and Maryanne Olley on how...... Read More
