Q 105 Sportfishing Fish Report 11-03-07

11-3-2007
Qualifier Crew

After a couple days of traveling, everyone was ready to do a little fishing this morning. After a quick look around, we began to steadily pick at yellowtail. We managed a steady bite most of the day with flurries of bonito and barracuda mixed in. After all was said and done, we had scratched out a decent day on the Yellows. Everyone that is except for Boss Hoag who managed to only catch what was described by one fellow angler as "chickens, goats, and pencils." All in all, it was a great day that helped break up our travels further south. The Chefs treated us all day with milk shakes delivered at the rail for snack and a beautiful NY steak dinner. Spirits are high and we are excited for tomorrow as we begin to get into Wahoo and Tuna country. Wish us luck we will keep you updated. The crew of the Q105 ??? your source for all things long range. Oh yeah and GO Chargers!!!!!!!!! (SORRY GUYS, Chargers didn't do it this time.)

Many of the customers enjoyed a day of hanging out on the stern deck telling stories and jokes. It was a very relaxing day, though anticipations are definitely rising, as we get closer to wetting a line. We are hoping to do some coastal...... Read More

The fish stories were being told as old friends got reacquainted while new friends shared tips and jokes. We all enjoyed a great Cornish Game Hen dinner and a heaping scoop of rocky road ice cream to top it off. We are looking forward to a day of rigging and traveling tomorrow with a...... Read More
