Trout action was excellent on both lakes with anglers using 8 to 14 inch leaders, power bait ( especially spring green, orange and rainbow), inflated night crawlers with garlic scent, jigs and lures to score limits. Lots of limits went out again this week. Hot spots include the western and eastern shores of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2.

Catches of the week: Joel Adams of San Bernardino caught a 3 lbs 15 ozs rainbow on an inflated night crawler while fishing the eastern logged shore of lake 3. His brother John Adams of Victorville reeled in a 4 lbs 10 ozs trout on a crappie jig near the inlet of lake 3. Tony Juranillo of Riverside scored a 4 lb 4 oz trout using a night crawler on the grassy point of lake 3. Karl Morgan of Rancho Cucamonga caught his 3 lb 12 ozs rainbow on orange power bait on the eastern shore of lake 2. Gary Jenkins of Palmdale caught a 3 lb 8 ozs trout on rainbow power bait while fishing the northern shore of lake 2.?? Matt Peterson of Fontana caught a 3 lbs 10 ozs trout using spring green power bait on the western shore of lake 2.
