The Aztec is back on the Bluefin Tuna with 55 fish so far and some Yellowtail to go with it.
The morning 1/2 day boat landed 29 Yellowtail out of about 60 hooked. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU FISH WITH 40#, 50# and 60# line. These fish are biting yo-yo'd jigs and dropper looped sardines and are not shy when it is bite time.

2-10-2015The New Seaforth returned from a morning half day trip catching 16 yellowtail and the afternoon half day returned with 94 yellowtail in the 15-30lb range. The majority of the yellowtail are being caught on the full sized yo yo iron. The day and a half trips fishing the Cortez bank are catching a nice mixture of bluefin tuna, yellowtail and bonito. The New Seaforths morning half day trip returned with 49 yellowtail in the 15-30lb range. The majority of the fish are being caught on the full sized yo yo iron and a few on the dropper loop sardines on 40lb mono. The Voyager returned from a day and a half trip fishing the Cortez bank with 7 anglers catching 20 bluefin tuna and 70 yellowtail. The New Seaforth departs daily at 6am and again at 12:30pm.
