The lake is filling, so the edges are questionable. Once you're out on the ice cap, it's around 9-12 inches thick. The fishing is improving. The fish are generally in deeper waters and the anglers who have located a deeper channel report good to hot fishing. Anglers are also catching small to mid-sized bass. Keep your presentations small and simple. Try a small, bright jig or a bare hook tipped with a meal or waxworm.
