We arrived to Alijos Rocks at approximately 10:00 something in the morning.?? The anticipation level went up a notch as the passengers could see the stones off the bow as we came rolling in.?? Today, the weather was absolutely beautiful.?? Light breeze, calm sea, and the sun graced us with is presence all day.?? As for the fishing, we spent a few hours trolling around capturing wahoo and small tuna.?? One of the skins was a nice one, too big for just one crew member to put on the boat.?? Once we got the anchor down we started to catch small grade tuna, a few more wahoo, some beautiful grade yellowtail, and some dorado to go along with it.?? For the most part we had steady action the entire time.?? As for tomorrow we are going to spend the night here, see what the morning brings, and make a decision from there.?? Until then, wish us luck.
P.S.?? Chiara and Robert- Dad says hello, yellowfin tuna and dorado.?? LOL ??

Today was spent traveling, preparing to do battle, taking care of some odds and...... Read More

After loading our fine group of passengers, we headed to the bait receivers to pick up what looks like a decent load of bait. The boat cleared Point Loma at approximately 1:45 and is currently on course for points south. Rolling down we definitely have some adverse weather conditions. Strong Easterly winds, hazy, smokey conditions, and fire along the...... Read More
