Today was spent on the ridge with high hopes of catching a bunch of yellowtail. But, alas the conditions were not favorable for these fish. Current is the number one factor for catching these types of fish and of this we had none. Jim Sullivan had the outstanding catch of a 70 pound gulf grouper. In the past couple times of trying this spot we have hooked plenty of these fish, but we have only landed this one. Good going Jim!

10-18-2007It was a long a brutal day on the tuna grounds. With all the sign we saw yesterday, and we did see fish today, they just did not want to bite whatsoever.
