Qualifier 105 Sportfishing Fish Report 10-07-07

Qualifier Crew

Well, another truly exhausting day here aboard the Qualifier 105. We spent the day looking for Tuna, in what seems to be the dead (and I do mean dead) Eastern Pacific. We found what seemed like good life, but it never turned into anything for us. If it weren't for the couple of kelps and open water strikes we had on Dorado, we wouldn't have put a tag on a fish all day. We looked so hard today that even the Captain went up in the mast in search of fish. Our's is not the finest I have ever seen, but it is still plenty workable. With fishing the way it is down south, we are going to start making tracks to the north. Tomorrow we hope to have better looking weather, as we are going to start offshore and work our way towards the beach in search of biting fish. Q-105 crew signing out. Joe, Cal, Eric, Tim, Travis #1 and Travis #2,Cappy, and big John

During our search we managed to catch and successfully release some Marlin and we caught and tagged some beautiful grade Dorado, that are now doing wonderful in our fresh well. Tomorrow is a new day and...... Read More

Our weather started today, a little on the sloppy side, got better, and then the wind picked up as the day went on. For our efforts we managed a little bit of Wahoo and some Dorado that we released, as we are waiting...... Read More
