Well, the East Walker is definately off and running! We've been getting lots of great reports the last few days and only a few not so great reports. It seems the streamer action has been the best, hornbergs in the special and rainbow colors, olive or olive and black bh??mini leeches, natural zonkers and olive and white zuddlers have all been doing well. Several anglers have reported 30+??days on the river. There's also been some nymph action with San Juan worms, caddis nymphs and some midge patterns. The water temp was about 58 degrees this morning coming out of the dam, all is well and the fish are healthy! We've also had some great reports from the Nevada side, both the Rosachi and Sceirine sections are fishing excellent.??

Bridgeport Lake is fishing well from boats,??most of the better reports I've been getting are from trolling. Haven't heard too much about fly fishing, but as the algae dissipates the streamer action should improve. We had a near 3lb perch in yesterday as well, the same boat got in to trout that were up to about 3 pounds as well, all trolling down near the dam. The water is??very low so there's lots of fish stacked down in the lower end of the lake.??

The Virginias are doing well for those who are willing to brave the weather. It's kind of nasty at the higher elevations but it hasn't hurt??the fishing.??

Kirman is still doing well, and should only get better as the??rest of the season progresses. White and olive buggers, zonkers is smaller sizes, as well as prince??nymphs, scud and the like should do the trick for you.

Back briefly??to the East Walker, we got very lucky this summer and the temps didn't seem to kill any fish down there. We were all worried for a while but it seems the river is back in shape and all is well.??

Also, don't forget the Fish Enhancement Program tournament??next month. The East Walker division is over half full, it maxes at 25 anglers so if you're interested get your registration in asap.??The Bridgeport Lake division is unlimited so there's no problem getting in there!??
