Qualifier Crew

Well, today didn't exactly go as planned. After getting off to a hot start yesterday we were not as fortunate today. We scratched together a couple stops but the YT were not cooperating with us like they so consistently have this summer. After a few frustrating drifts and a lot of looking we decided to go look else where. Hopefully our fortunes as well as our weather improve. We have a great group of anglers who despite a tough day of fishing are still having a blast and eating well as well thanks to Chris and John in the galley who prepared a little taste of Italy in the form of homemade lasagna. Keep those digits crossed for us.

We continued our trek south arriving at our destination in the late afternoon. After a look around we found a good spot of biting YT's. They were all that nice grade of 20-30 lb YT that we have been fortunately spoiled with all year long. The Q105 is on the search again. We departed Point Loma at 11am with a full load of excited anglers. As we cleared the point we were treated to the rare sight of a submarine underway entering the harbor. We are traveling down towards Cedros in beautiful weather and are looking forward to the next few days of fishing.
