What started off as a slow day of fishing albacore, ended up a fine day of albacore fishing. When it was all said and done - 120 longfins were on board.

Because of rough weather in the Albacore area, we ran down the beach to start our trip off fishing Yellowtail. With good reports from the previous couple of days, we could not help but think that we would have good afternoon action. Reality set in when we saw Yellowtail on several different spots - but they would bite right at first and then immediately stop.
