Today we fished offshore in search of some albacore and there was definitely some to be seen. The weather was nice and great for looking, with spots of birds, fish, and bait up on the surface. However, like the year has been, seeing fish and catching fish have not always gone hand in hand. We were able to get on top of multiple schools today, but only a few were in the mood to bite the hook baits. We did end up with a few good hits which made it a productive day. We will be traveling down tonight heading for some island yellowtail. Weather continues to be nice......
