It was a good day of fishing here at Cedros island. We had to move around a bit and when we got onto the right spot, the fish would put on a good show biting fly-lined baits and the surface iron.

Bill Roecker is on the boat shooting a new video, in which he got some good footage of yellows blowing out on the surface irons.

After traveling a good part of the day we arrived at San Benitos islands and found some biting yellowtail for everyone. The grade was good with lots of twenty pound fish in the mix. The standard of heavy iron or fly-lined sardine worked their magic on these fish.
