hi folks, weather today was sunny with a 10 to15 knot breeze throughout the day. albacore fishing was extremely frustrating. we found at least 20 different schools from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m., and if any of them would have bit, we would of had limits for the day. i ran over several schools that were 3 to 4 boat lengths and the fish would just lay there under the boat at 50 to 60 feet, and not even boil or bite. we caught 28 albacore for the day, and we are now headed south to fish kelps tomorrow, and then Yellowtail, white sea bass, and halibut on Monday. wish us luck. the r.p. crew.
