After our excellent albacore fishing and iffy bait we were forced to come back into the bay to reload. The common sense choice of a fishing destination was our Coronado Islands. There has been decent yellowtail fishing to be had for the last four months. Our timing wasn't the best as with the local wind on the beach the water temp dropped dramatically. There was only sign of fish in a few spots and your timing had to be perfect. Some of our local 3/4 day fleet that fishes there every day had a better clue as to whats going on. Even though we only managed a handfull of fish morale on the deck remained high.

This concludes one of our favorite trips of the year. The guys from James Gang Hardware with all their faith and fishing expirience almost always make the trip a good one.
