Capt. Forest Howlett at the Helm of the Island Spirit took 18 Anglers bottom fishing today ending 2015 in a fitting way...since today is the final day for Rockfish, Lingcod and Sheephead! We did well overall and filled bags once again with nice quality fish!  We at Ventura Sportfishing are very excited about our 2015 season and as most of you are already aware we have put both full day boats, the 4 a.m. Pacific Eagle and 5 a.m. Island Spirit, on line during the month of January.  Our primary focus will be Yellowtail and of course expect to bring on some Halibut, Calico's and possibly even White Seabass!!!

REMEMBER: No ice chest's or coolers allowed on any boat. We simply don't have enough room for them. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted, they must be purchased on board in the galley (photo I.D. required). Fishing licenses, rods, terminal tackle, food or gratuity are NOT included in your ticket price.
