Trout and bass are very active when the weather is mild. You can easily see trout schooling and cruising near the surface or congregating near the reeds, so try to cast as close to the cattails as possible. Bass are very active and are hitting minnows and other traditional bass baits. Bass are also hanging close to the reeds and tall vegetation.
