Water flows on the Trinity are up...That is great news. We will start to see a push of fish later this week. I fished the Sac yesterday. We work hard for our bites. The count over the dam is 1000 fish higher than last year at this time. The Sac will only get better. We had to listen to Matt after showing us "how to do it".

The upper Trinity River is starting to see salmon stacking up in the holes. Some of the fish are getting dark. The counts at the wier are still good with a number of salmon, steelhead and German Browns. I had the pleasure of going to the Sacramento above Red Bluff for the salmon opener.
