Island Yellowtail and Offshore Tuna

The San Diego has called in an update from it's three quarter day trip with 30 yellowtail in the 18-25lb class. They are seeing better schools of fish as the morning progresses. The yellowtail are bitting the yo yo jigs and the dropper loop on 30-40lb line. The Pacific Star returned yesterday from a two and a half day trip with 57 bluefin tuna, 71 yellowfin tuna, 17 skipjack, 5 yellowtail and 230 misc. rockfish. The Tribute has called in from the fourth day of a four and a half day trip with 200+ yellowfin tuna and 10 bluefin tuna for the day.
Both the Pacific Star and Tribute have upcoming multi day trips departing this week.
The San Diego departs daily for the Coronado Islands at 5:30am.
The Sea Watch offers two half day trips daily departing at 6am and 12:30pm.

11-16-2014Captain Mike Bullard aboard the Pacific Star returned from a two and a half day trip this morning with 57 bluefin tuna, 71 yellowfin tuna, 17 skipjack, 5 yellowtail and 237 misc. rockfish.
