Channel Islands Sportfishing
First we would again like to say thank you to our Vet's on this Veterans Day. We had a total of 167 anglers, many veterans and there families went fishing at Cisco's today. A great way to spend the day, catching a variety of fish and enjoying the islands. Some of the simple pleasures we enjoy in America today, because of past sacrifices made by our military brothers and sisters.
Report: Cobra was our early boat this morning and got on the game fish right away. With yellowtail on the deck they completed the day rockfishing. We had a two for one special on the Gentleman. They caught a good amount of rockfish and whitefish. Speed Twin 1/2 day put together a solid count for its limited time on the water. Captain Shawn and his Aloha Spirit had great fishing again catching nice rockfish, whitefish and a bunch of sheephead! One overnight boat was out, Mirage. They had really good bottom fishing for reds, lings and whitefish.
Today's Fish Count: 7 boats 167 anglers
1163 Rockfish, 60 Sheephead, 56 Lingcod, 167 Whitefish 1 Sand Bass, 7 Sculpin, 51 Calico Bass, 1 Cabezon, 25 Perch, 1 Halibut and 9 Yellowtail.
