Channel Islands Sportfishing
The weekend is here and finally a great weather forecast to come with it! We saw the first signs of what's to come for the next few days. Bright sunny skies with a flat calm ocean!
After taking a couple days off the yellowtail popped up for a few lucky anglers today. The passengers on the Cobra hooked several nicer grade yellows, landing 4 in the 20lb class before going bottom fishing. Most of the other boats focused on bottom fishing, enjoying some of the best quality reds and chucks we have seen in a while.
Today's Fish Count: 6 boats and 76 anglers
537 Rockfish, 20 Lingcod, 3 Sculpin, 2 Sand Bass, 9 Whitefish, 50 Calico Bass, 3 Sheephead and 6 Yellowtail.

Looking forward to the weekend, with surprisingly moderate loads for even the big boats. Both Saturday and Sunday look to be very angler friendly on both the Gentleman 3/4 day and Speed Twin 1/2 day trips. Open spots still available for the overnight trips too! Be sure to call or book online.
