Fish Lake UT Fish Report

11-6-2014
Utah Division of Wildlife

Boat anglers report good fishing for rainbow trout by trolling pop gear. Shore anglers are doing well using flies or bait near Twin Creeks. Yellow perch also offer fast action by jigging just outside the weedline. To target splake, jig outside the weedline in 20 to 60 feet. Lake trout move to shallow water during October to spawn and, although they can be very visible, they are fairly hard to catch. Call the Fish Lake Lodge at 435-638-1000 or the Bowery Haven Resort at 435-638-1040 for up-to-date conditions and fishing reports.
