Captain Justin Fleck called in this morning from the Excel with an update from the Collonello 10 day trip. We made it down to the lower banks and saw nice water with lots of birds and school sized Yellowfin Tuna. The Tuna are the same size as the tuna on the Ridge. Yesterday we fished out at the Rocks. We had fair wahoo fishing 23 or 24 of them. The overall grade of the Wahoo is excellent. We are going to be fishing for Dorado on kelps today. We will check in tomorrow ...

Excel Gets Limits Of yellowfin At The Ridge

Capt Justin Fleck called in from the Excel, we started off at the Ridge late yesterday afternoon and managed to get daily limits of Yellowfin Tuna. Excel Fishes Cedros Island For Yellowtail

Justin Fleck called in from the Excel, today we fished Cedros Island to stay away from the winds and try for some Yellowtail. We had pretty good fishing mostly on dropper loops and yoyo fish, everyone got to do some yanking and cranking and put some fish in the hold. We are now headed south and plan to be at the Ridge tomorrow looking for Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo and hoping the winds go away. We will...... Read More
