Channel Islands Sportfishing
Good surface fishing today for just about all the boats. Captain Don on the Gentleman landed several nice Yellowtail (pictured here) this morning before moving on to catch Calico's, Bonito and some slab Perch! Overall an excellent day for everyone on the water.
Today's Fish Count: 5 boats and 96 anglers.
19 Yellowtail, 69 Calico Bass, 211 Bonito, 1 Barracuda, 263 Rockfish, 6 Sculpin, 22 Sheephead, 100 Whitefish, 26 Perch, 50 Opaleye, 1 Cabezon, 4 Lingcod and 2 Spanish Jack.
Note: this count does not include the 1.5 day offshore trip by the Mirage. That count will be included in tomorrow evenings report.
We still have plenty of open spots of the boats for tomorrow morning, including an overnight trip to the outer islands! Give us a call at the landing to set up your next adventure on the water!
