Surface Water Temp: 79.8 degrees
Fish Plants: Trout plants are finished for the season.
Lake Hours: 6:15am-6:15pm
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the mid 60's to high 90's.
***We are still launching private boats, rental boats, and the shoreline is accessible***
BASS
Anglers are catching few bass between 2-3 pounds. The bass are in the 30-35 ft range. Anglers have been seeing lots of bass but not having any luck on getting them on the hook. Try using senko's , creature baits and bluegill type lures.
STRIPER
There were no reports of anglers catching striper this week. Cut bait, flies and bluegill look alike lures are recommended for catching striper.
CATFISH
There are many catfish being caught! Stink bait, cut bait and night crawlers work best for catfish. Try fishing near the dams and islands. Tom Kaltendach of Hemet caught three catfish over 10 pounds using shrimp. The biggest weighed 11.60 pounds!
PANFISH
Anglers are catching many redear and crappies on night crawlers, mini jigs and mealworms. There were many reports of panfish being caught by the dams, the rock quarry and by restroom #2.
