Capt Justin called in from the Excel on their first day of fishing on their Gallagher 8 day trip, we started fishing down the beach scratching away at Yellowtail. We hit the islands this morning and found some very good Yellowtail fishing on some really good grade fish. Most fish were in the 18 - 30 pound range, we now have plenty of Yellowtail for everyone and are now headed out to the tuna grounds. We are keeping an eye on Hurricane Norbert headed up this way, we are going to head back north and looking for Yellowfin and Bluefin for the rest of the trip. Wish us luck.
