As of 3:30 the day's fish tally is:
Limits of Yellowfin Tuna, 21 Dorado, 45 Yellowtail
Jackpot fish is a 22 pound Yellowfin Tuna so far.
Captain Gavin Harbour and the guys are heading SSW 215' from the morning and early afternoon areas; they are looking for a couple more Dorado and Yellows.
Mega baits, 20 and 30 pound floural carbon line, ringed circle hooks, To match the fish and line size, (big fish big gear)
new line on your reels if your line is older that 7 months, small sliding egg sinkers or rubber core twist on sinkers is the tackle call on the trip. If you normally bring one cooler for your fish you better bring two right now. Fishing is very good.
The bait has been both sardines and anchovy.
Please get to THE REAL Sea Adventure 80 about 2 hours early. Parking can be a real challenge with fishing as good as it is.
Please remember there are two Sea Adventure boats, and other imitators too, they are more different than night and day, there is a big difference in the operations too. Make sure to get out with Scott McDaniels, Gavin Harbour, Bob Medland, Jonny, Roman, Billy, and the rest of the Fish Studs.
