Tribute offshore update

After a slow first day of a two day trip the Tribute slid  into one day range and found an area of eager Bluefin, Yellowfin and Yellowtail. They wrapped up this trip with 24 anglers sharing 11 Bluefin, 29 Yellowfin and 29 Yellowtail. Captain Mike Pritchard said the fish bit the yo-yo jig, swimbaits and skipped surface iron as well as live bait on some jig stops.

The Voyager pulled in this morning from a day and a half trip with 29 yellowfin tuna and 42 yellowtail for only 13 anglers. Three quarter day trips are catching a nice mix of yellowtail, barracuda, calico bass and rockfish. 6/21/14 12pm The San Diego has called in with an update from their three quarter day with 40+ yellowtail and still fishing. The fish are up to 25lbs apiece and are bitting the fly lined baits and the surface jigs. There is also plenty of barracuda mixed in with the yellowtail. 5pm The San diego finished its three quarter day with 78 yellowtail, 14 barracuda, 10 calico bass, 21 rock fish and a lone sheepshead.......
