The Eclipse on a two day trip has reported the first dorado of the season, along with 12 yellowfin tuna and 141 yellowtail.
The Pacific Voyager returning from a two day with 4 bluefin tuna between 60-75lbs apiece, 8 yellowfin tuna and 45 yellowtail.
The Pride also returning from a two day with 3 yellowfin tuna and 81 yellowtail.
The captains recommend fishing?? #2 hooks and 3/8-1/2 ounce rubber core sinkers for the yellowfin, but also bring some heavier gear just in case the larger bluefin tuna make a showing.

6-1-2014Captain Mike Pritchard aboard the Tribute has called in with 35 yellowfin tuna and 12 yellowtail for the morning bite of a day and a half trip. The Tribute has a 1.5 day trip departing at 5:00p.m. Friday May 30th. This trip is a go for sure! There is a large area of mixed sized Bluefin and Yellowfin heading northward and it is recommended to be prepared to fish with 25#-60# fluorocarbon or mono. The San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon rolls into east Mission Bay this Sunday June 1st. Access to west Mission Bay will be impacted in the morning, particularly Sea World Drive which will be......
