Kathy Wyatt of Petaluma caught 2 Trout over 4 pounds this week while trolling a Blue Fox lure near the dam. Her husband Randy caught 4 little bitty trout but I guess he wins the "most fish" category!! Richard Plise Jr. ended his summer with a BANG! He took out an 8 lb. 8 oz. Catfish from the shoreline in Elmer's Cove, and he tied the "Biggest Fish" with his friend Robin Strobeck who solely carried that title in their group up until now. Hunter Wickum caught 4 nice Bass, his biggest weighed 3 Pounds and he used rubber worms near the bridge. Jesse & Penny brought in a 5 lb. 12 oz. Largemouth Bass yesterday they landed while trolling for trout with a worm on a Wedding Ring spinner.
Carolina Riedberger from Brownsville wins the "GREAT JOB" award for the Biggest Rainbow catch this week! Her fish weighed 7 Pounds and she caught it trolling Sparkle Powerbait at 30' down. Kyle Powers trolled a Rapala just outside the 5MPH buoys near the beach and netted a 5 lb. 8 oz. Rainbow. Everett of Woodland limited out on Trout this week using his favorite technique-trolling flashers and worms near the dam! 4 trout on a stringer went home with Beau Fletcher who trolled around 40' in the middle of the lake.
Jonathon of Antelope fished near the bridge trolling a Rainbow Trout Kastmaster and got the surprise of his week! He brought up what he thought would be a huge trout but instead was a 4 lb. 8 oz. Catfish. Brianna & Blake & Brooke Bertolin of San Jose got the knack really quick on catching Bluegill off the dock using worms! Tommy Lockwood from Chico & Riley Schader also caught Bluegill from the dock. Vincent Edwards & sister Jennifer caught their 1st fish from the dock, a beautiful Bluegill.......
Scott Cantees of Davis caught and "released" a beautiful 4 Pound Largemouth Bass from the shoreline near the dam and he was tossing a Nightcrawler! Mitch reeled in a 7 Pound Catfish by the marina using worms for bait. Hats off to Daniel Clemente of Fremont who caught a Catfish on Anchovies off the dock. He's the guy with the Big Hat pictured above!!!
