Brian Evans docked Mike Keating's Spirit of Adventure August 26 at H&M Landing after a three-day trip.
"We only had the one day to fish," he said, "but everybody on the boat got a tuna."
The biggest tuna, an 86-pounder, came to Daniele "Sarge" Sancisi of Hermosa Beach. He said he caught it with a green mackerel on a 2/0 ringed Super Mutu hook and 60-pound blue Izorline and 80-pound fluorocarbon leader. He used a Penn 6/0 reel and "?Ķan old seven-foot jig-casting rod," of unknown origin.
