Well the sturgeon bite was even better today, Unbelievable! Zach had a hard core crew that braved the rain and had a fantastic day. They had 5 keepers, one was released, a few shakers and lost a good keeper at the boat. Captain Zach was fishing in 36 feet of water a little above buoy 2 on the ships side. The top bait again was eel followed by eel/grass shrimp. Good job again Captain Zach. This keeps up I will stay on vacation and let Capt. Zach keep hammering the fish.
Deb and I wondered down into North Carolina today. We spent most of the day in the Outer Banks area. I enjoyed visiting Kitty Hawk and walking on the area where the first controlled powered flight took place (Wright Brothers). We spent some time near Hatteras Pt and a giant old light house. We had lunch at Armstrong's Seafood. Some of the best fish and shrimp I have had to date. You can see the fish in the display case before it is cooked and all locally caught by friends of the owners. Anyway enjoy the photos and we will be wondering our way south tomorrow. Zach has a light load of 4 tomorrow. Call him at 510 495-5915 if you would like to join
