Well the sturgeon bite was even better today, Unbelievable! Zach had a hard core crew that braved the rain and had a fantastic day. They had 5 keepers, one was released, a few shakers and lost a good keeper at the boat. Captain Zach was fishing in 36 feet of water a little above buoy 2 on the ships side. The top bait again was eel followed by eel/grass shrimp. Good job again Captain Zach. This keeps up I will stay on vacation and let Capt. Zach keep hammering the fish. Deb and I wondered down into North Carolina today. We spent most of the day in the Outer Banks area. I enjoyed visiting Kitty Hawk and walking on the area where the first controlled powered flight took place (Wright Brothers). We spent some time near Hatteras Pt and a giant old light house. We had lunch at Armstrong's Seafood. Some of the best fish and shrimp I have had to date. You can see the fish in the display case before it is cooked and all locally caught by friends of the owners.
