If it isn't a deuce cut it loose
Hello everyone; We ended our trip with a good showing of 200 pound Yellowfin tuna. With only room for a few jumbo's we started our morning off with a 180 pound cut-off. That cut-off didn't last long, as the first two fish that came over the rail were 200 pounders. First was Clarence the "PELICAN" Becker's 231 shortly followed bye Jim Howard's first ever 200 pounder and new personal best 217. Our last 200 pounder was caught by Rocky Opliger and weighed 224 pounds. We cut off a handful of fish in the 150 to 180 range and pulled the anchor by 7 am. And trolled up a few wahoo before taking off for home.
Lucky angler today was Clarence "Pelican" Becker. Clarence landed the daily jackpot winner, and the first fish over 180 pounds.
We also would like to thank Jerry Brown for the great give away's, daily jackpot prizes ($100.00 & Royal Polaris Jackets), hat's and tee-shirts for everyone onboard. The passengers and crew of the Royal Polaris would like to say thank you Jerry. Hope to see you fishing again soon.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
