Oroville Reservoir Fish Report
3-29-2014
Ron Gandolfi
Here it is at the end of March and the Spring bite is in full swing. Many nice bass have been caught and many have already spawned with many more heading to the banks for their annual duties. Lake Oroville is now half full and has come up 45 feet since the first of Feb. The rain is coming down in buckets as I write this so we could see more good news for our lakes. Water temps have jumped to the 60 degrees mark in several areas of Lake Oroville which is great news for this time of year. We have been finding the bass on points and wall leading into coves and also in certain coves that are already producing spawning activity. We are getting many large bass in the 2 lb range but from 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 almost daily. Here are a few of the photos of some of the last trips. Daily numbers have been from 60 plus to over 80 plus per day and those numbers will increase as the water warms up even more. It is a great time to come out and have a great time on the lake. I have some days open during the weeks of April but only the weekends of the 12 th. and 26 th. open if you would like to book a trip.

Oroville Reservoir Fish Report
Lake OrovilleHello everyone, I hope this fishing report finds you all well . As you all know we are low on water this year but hopefully this rain will star a trend and begin to fill our lakes back up. Lake Oroville is now at 199 feet from the top and is filling very slightly at the moment. As I have heard, they want to hold the lake level a tad higher if we don't get much more...... Read More
