Well Fishermen,

What can I say, the sturgeon fishing has been good and getting better. The water temperature is up around 60 degrees, the weather has been great and the sturgeon are very active. Rick hooked his first keeper sturgeon today. The fish did a tail dance from 31 feet of water and bit like a striped bass. 2 trips ago we had a 57 inch sturgeon hammer the bait like a bass and was ripping line off the reel before the angler grabbed the rod. We have been fishing close to home, Glomar buoys, buoy 2 and the old first row of ships. Our best bait has been eel and eel / grass shrimp combo. I will stick to sturgeon through April as I think we will have some great sturgeon fishing. Now is the time to call ! Enjoy the photos.
