Daily reports of a few Pinks being caught (South Whidbey, Pt No Pt), with a few Silvers as well.?? The invasion should begin any day now!?? Soon, all beaches associated with a point of land, from Tacoma to the Stilly (Skagit run down ??? river closed for Pinks), will at times swarm with these prolific alternate-year (mostly) salmon.?? They'll run from 1 to 5 pounds on average, so the 5-weights and 6-weights are perfectly capable and sporting. Hand-over-fist is the rule once this event gets going!

In between waves of pinks, sea-runs and the odd small silver should be around.?? And, of course, after the pinks come the Big silvers?Ķ?? Beach fishing anybody?! It's time?Ķ
