Sturgeon Update from the Cal Dawn

Captain James Smith is back out fishing. The Cal Dawn is currently departing from Martinez. Over this weekend the Cal Dawn had a total of three trips on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We had some oversized fish (up to 85 pounds) and some short fish too. We did end up with 2 keepers today. And we had a total of 8 fish caught today. The biggest Sturgeon we caught was estimated at 100 pounds.

The Cal Dawn is running Sturgeon trips on the weekends and will be online this coming weekend. You can call Captain James Smith at (510) 417-5557 to get in on the action.
