Fish Lake UT Fish Report

2-13-2014
Utah Division of Wildlife

The lake has finally capped completely, except for the spot right next to Twin Creeks. The ice is 10 to 12 inches thick over most of the lake. There is now about a foot of snow on top of the ice and it can get a little slushy. Fishing is good to excellent for perch and rainbows in 15-40 feet. You can catch larger rainbows suspended over deep water. Fishing for splake and lake trout is slow to fair. Tip jigs and spoons with mealworms, wax worms, night crawlers, perch meat or sucker meat. Call the Fish Lake Lodge at 435-638-1000 or the Quiet Fly Fisher fly shop at 435-616-2319 for up-to-date conditions and fishing reports.
