Afternoon Yellowtail update from PLSF

Captain Steve P. on the MISSION BELLE reported in with 12 Yellowtail so far and is still fishing. We will post up any new info as we receive it.
Just a reminder to bring a 40-50lb rig and an assortment of heavy yo-yo jigs. We’ve also had a few fish this week caught on the dropper loop as well. THESE ARE BIG YELLOWTAIL (20-36LBS) SO BE READY!!
¾ day trips go daily at 6:00 A.M. and return about 6:00 P.M. The price for adults is $128.00 which includes the tourist visa and the Mexican fishing permit. Kids under 16, seniors over 60 and active military with I.D. are $118.00 with permit and visa included. Tackle Rental is an additional $17.50 for the day. PHOTO I.D. REQUIRED FOR ALL PASSENGERS OF ALL AGES.

1-10-2014Captain Steve P. on the MISSION BELLE just relayed a report for the day so far. They are on the 1st stop of the day, 5 big yellowtail on deck and another fish still hanging. Steve was very excited and had to go back to work but he'll check back in later with more. The MISSION BELLE is still capturing very large YELLOWTAIL at the Coronado Islands. Yesterdays count was 20 Yellowtail (24-36lbs) and a few rockfish. These fish are being caught on heavy Yo-Yo jigs (Tady 4/0's, Salas 7x jr's) and make sure to bring the heavy 40lb line.
