The East Walker river is running at about 35 cfs right now and the fishing is just so-so.

Jim Reid
The river is running at about 35 cfs right now, the water is a bit green still, probably from algae and weeds still coming through the dam from the reservoir. I'd say the fishing is just so so these days with most anglers reporting from 3 to 5 fish per day. The best flies seem to be small midges still like copper johns, wd-40's, zebra midges, flashback emergers and rainbow warriors. Best time of day to fish is going to be from about 10am to 3pm or so, depending on the weather.
