CASPER - The Casper Regional Office of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites the public to attend an information-gathering meeting regarding hunting seasons.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 at the Casper Game and Fish office, 3030 Energy Lane. The emphasis will be on antelope, deer and elk hunting seasons. The main goal of the meeting is to obtain feedback from the public and solicit ideas regarding future hunting seasons.
"This will be a working meeting and we want to encourage maximum public participation," said Justin Binfet, Wildlife Management Coordinator for the Casper Region.
A facilitator will help keep the meeting on-track. Participants may be placed in sub-groups to discuss issues and potential solutions. Wildlife managers would like to gather information in preparation for the development of the 2014 hunting seasons. "We'll be gathering public input and we're here to listen and to provide clarification when necessary," said Binfet.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department supports the Americans with Disabilities Act. Every effort will be made for reasonable accommodations, contact the Casper Game and Fish office at (307) 473-3400.
