Good morning folks. Hopefully this report finds all of our great guests in good health, and may great things be happening to you all. So, just a brief update on the things going on here on the world's most beautiful long range boat! So as you all know by now, we took a brief hiatus to get the big girl tuned up. There was nothing major, but she is a boat, and boats could always use some loving. We just went over her, and gave her a little tlc. We did jobs such as : steam cleaning the engine room, repairing wall paper, carpet cleaning, scrubbing and oiling all the teak, repairing any light fixtures that needed attention, cleaning all a/c units, replacing filters, organizing, and just all around general maintenance, and finally, we are back where we belong! On the water! What a great feeling it is to be fishing again. We departed yesterday on one of the Larry Browne sponsored trips, and boy did he have a lot to give away! For those of you that don...'t know Larry Browne, he is very active in raising money for very worthy organizations. Those of which include: Friends of Rollo, marina del rey anglers, Byron art and fishing, and the LA rod and reel club. On the way out yesterday, he had a series of raffles, and in the end, ended up raising 1570$ in just an hour. All proceeds will go to one or more of the previously mentioned organizations. Larry would like to thank the following sponsors: AFTCO
Avet reels
Phenix rods
Booyaa
Shimano
Izorline

Wow! What a list that was! Anyhow, the tables were just packed with raffle giveaways and everyone received multiple gifts! Shortly, thereafter we got into our prime rib dinner, and then it was time to sit around and tell some fish stories(lies).Currently, we are headed south in very light winds, and a flat calm sea. The sun is just starting to show, and the sky is clear as can be. As for fishing, we may stop today depending on what conditions look like. Everyone is in great spirits, and the mood on board is very happy and optimistic. We have quite a few new anglers on this trip, and hopefully we can get them HOOKED! Thanks for visiting with us, and have a great day!
