Justin Fleck called in with this report for the Excel. "We started off the day down the Beach looking for some Yellowtail and to get out of the weather for awhile. The morning started out on the slow side. We could see the Yellowtail about everywhere we went. We saw them up on birds, cruising with Dolphins, bait balls. There was a very good sign Yellowtail down the beach. We just couldn't get them to bite and it really got slow. In the afternoon everything came back up & it was very good Yellowtail fishing for us from 3:00 PM until dark. A lot of the fish cam on the yo-yo, salas 6 X junior, a scrambled egg was the hot ticket. Most of the guys fly-lined sardines & they were even eating the surface iron a little bit. We're going to slide down and have a look at the Ridge tomorrow. We'll see if we can find some more tuna, some Dorado and take a shot at some Wahoo.
"It looks like we're going to have some good weather for a few days. So we're going to take advantage of it and look around. We'll check in again tomorrow."
