Last chance for East Lake which closes at the end of the month

East Lake can fish awesome the last month it is open. People are now spread out all over the place this time of year and the fish are looking for that last chance to eat. Sub-surface tactics will be the most productive. Stripping in Buggers, Chironomids and larger streamers could produce that large brown. Fish should be in fairly tight to the bank due to colder temperatures. East Lake will also close October 31st.

Deschutes River- Lower: Steelhead are in the Lower Deschutes from the Mouth all the way to Warm Springs
Deschutes River- Upper: The Upper Deschutes between Little Lava and Crane closes at the end of this month
Metolius River: September on the Metolius a time when the bugs can be insane
Crooked River: The Crooked river has been fishing fantastic with excellent dry fly action!
East Lake: East lake has been tapering off quite a bit, but should pick up when the weather gets cooler
Lava Lake: Both Lava Lakes can be one of the better options during the fall
Hosmer Lake: All the reports that have been coming from Hosmer have been excellent
Crane Prairie Reservoir: Crane has been fishing average lately
