Trip of a Lifetime
9-28-2013
John Thompson
It was the trip of many years of fishing for me, no we didn\'t get any tuna, white seabass or halibut. It was because I was able to take my grandkids on their first ever deepsea fishing trip and what a day it was. We were aboard the STARDUST in beautiful Santa Barbara. On board along with the other anglers were my grandson and daughter as well as my son and his wife also on her first ever deepsea fishing trip. We couldn\'t have asked for better conditions, the sea were flat and it was a go for the west end of Santa Rosa Island. Capt Dane decided that we would try and stay pretty shallow all day if the fish cooperated with us and did the ever. The joy of seeing my grandkids catch their first ever ocean fish is indescribable as well as my daugter in law. The fishing was excellent and we caught limits plus about 50 lingcod for our 36 anglers. It was also great to see a lot of the Santa Barbara regulars come out for a great day of fishing. I would like to give a special thanks to the entire crew for making this a very memorable day for my family. For some of the same service for you and your family give them a call at 805-963-3564 and schedule your family for a memorable day on the water.
