Roads on the WMA are dry and in good condition. Water temperatures are at 60 degrees throughout the area. Following the seasonal stocking, trout fishing has picked up at Haymeadow and Cold Springs using powerbait and spinners. No reports from anglers at Adams-McGill at this time. Dacey trout and bass fishing has been slow from the dike and out on the lake. Weeds are starting to emerge at the surface and near the boat launches. Expect a greater number of visitors to the WMA this coming weekend as the duck hunting season opens Oct. 12.
