Fish Report for 10-9-2013

Limits of Bluefin Tuna

10-9-2013
Seaforth Staff

We had several captains call in this morning with great news from the tuna grounds. Captain Jim Hughes of the Cortez called in to report limits of Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna for their day of fishing yesterday. According to Jim all of the Bluefin are of excellent quality, with the majority of fish in the 40-50 pound range.

Mark Ornoz of the Pacific Voyager also called in earlier to report limits style fishing for their day yesterday. They had 90 Bluefin Tuna up to 50 pounds along with 40+ Yellowfin and plenty of Yellowtail and Dorado to round out the count.

Don't give up on the season just yet. There are plenty of fish well within one day range and the weather today doesn't appear to be affecting the zone our fleet is fishing. Reports from both of our captains this morning confirmed this.
